Today’s Internet Finds: A Smile and Nostalgia

I stumbled upon something quite delightful today that brought a smile to my face. Google honored the legendary singer KK with a Google doodle on his debut day in Bollywood. This day, not marked by his birthday or even death anniversary, marks his critical achievement in the Bollywood industry. Even though he's no longer with us, his music continues to resonate and touch hearts, which made my day a little brighter.

Currently, I'm listening to one of my favorite songs by KK, 'Tu Jo Mile Hai,' and I can't help but share a request: Comment below with your favorite song by KK!

Reflecting on the Past

Something that brought back a lot of nostalgia was the reinstallation of my Telegram app. When I re-downloaded it, I found some old messages from a group chat. The memories of our secret conversations still linger, and it's interesting to see that everyone today is more focused on their careers. Perhaps the days of long, unconventional chats have passed, but the warmth of those conversations remains etched in my mind.

An Old Forwarded Video: A Funny Mishap

This was the hundredth time someone shared with me this comical video. I share the feeling of being offended, but it's laughed at for its humor. It's a video of an Odia man interviewing for a Network Engineer job. Here's the breakdown of his interview:

Interviewer (Question): What experience do you have?

Man (Answer): Sir, I work with BSNL. Whenever the line goes dead, I ride the telephone khamba (pole) and make it good again.

Lol, yaay! We now have the reason for BSNL's network issues!

Man (Answer): I am putting my screwdriver everywhere and seeing what is happening.

More than 5 years, and I still don't understand what the man meant. Clearly, he's a very educated guy, graduating from the Cambridge Institution Ranchi, not in England. He's honest and sweet, spending hours chatting with girls on Facebook during his spare time, and has a unique interest in collecting pan masala wrappers.

Man (Answer): Bolo Zubaan Keshari (Speak in Odia).

Honestly, I am offended. Why do you keep sending me this video?

Just when I think I've finally escaped another forward, here it comes again. It's a timeless classic, and though it might be a little outdated, it still provides some hilarious moments and context for those who were there.
