The Decline in Demand for Professional Photographers

As a photographer/videographer/professional for over 30 years, I've seen the evolution of the field firsthand. Initially, my career was centered around shooting film, a process that required significant time, effort, and quality equipment. By 2007, the shift to digital began, and by the time I started teaching, the advantages of digital photography were undeniable. Today's smartphones, however, have rapidly become a serious threat to the professional photography market.
