The Imagery of God: From Imagination to Belief

Humans have long grappled with the concept of an ultimate being, often referred to as a Creator, or simply, as many religions would have it, 'God.' This exploration leads us to ponder the essence of God in various forms and the impact these imaginations have on our lives and spiritual journeys.

Defining God

Thomas Merton, a renowned spiritual writer, once commented, 'So much depends on our idea of God! Yet no idea of him, however pure and perfect, is adequate to express him as he really is.
