The Earth’s Population Without Death: Imagining a Cosmic Balance

Adam and Eve were told by God to fill the earth with their offspring, and the total population would have been whatever God considered the correct number. However, nature’s sacred balance cannot sustain an eternal populace. The mechanisms of recycling, renewal, and the transitions of life from flesh to spirit ensure that the universe remains in harmony.

Understanding Cosmic Balance

Nature’s spirit, far more intelligent than we realize, is responsible for the perfect balance in the universe. Without the mechanisms of death and rebirth, the earth would have reached an unmanageable population. Currently, the processes of evolution from flesh to spirit and the passing of power from older to younger generations maintain balance. God has already prepared a new heaven and a new earth, a place devoid of sustenance struggles, wars, or poverty.
Eternity itself would make sustaining such a population unnecessary.

Estimating the Population

An interesting scenario to consider is the earth’s population if no one had died since Adam. If Adam and Eve had not faced death, the population could easily reach about 100 billion people. However, this estimate assumes that advanced civilizations like portrayed in Star Trek would have developed advanced birth control measures, potentially reducing the population to 10-25 billion.

According to some estimates, the population could have reached a staggering 50 billion people, including children under five who would have otherwise died. This larger group reflects a world where children would not inevitably die of ailments or other natural causes, significantly increasing the population.

Challenges of an Unlimited Population

Such a scenario presents profound challenges. With no death, the accumulation of resources and population growth would rapidly outstrip the earth’s ability to sustain itself. Galactic or cosmic resources might provide a temporary solution, but the earth’s inhabitants would still face the challenges of living elbow to elbow, standing room only.

It has been estimated that approximately 100 billion modern examples of humans have existed over the last 250-300,000 years. This poses a significant problem for the earth’s finite resources to sustain such a large population over extended periods.

The True Setup of the Earth

Instead of simply imagining an infinite population, it is essential to understand how the earth was originally set up to accommodate a sustainable population. This involves the complex balance of cosmic forces and celestial mechanisms that consistently bring about renewal and transition.

There is no more true equality, justice, or fairness as we know it. Balancing and measuring, too, have been altered. It is a fundamental shift in our understanding of the world that must be considered in any discussion of population growth and the earth’s capacity.
