Sketches and Drawings from Class: A Fun and Creative Take on Learning
Have you ever found yourself doodling during a boring class or lecture? Sometimes, these spontaneous drawings can be more than just a distraction; they can be a form of expression, humor, and even a way to capture the essence of what you're learning.
Integrating Creativity during Lectures
Lectures and classes can be monotonous at times, but what if you could turn them into something more engaging and memorable? Many students and professionals use sketches and drawings to stay attentive and inject some fun into the process. These sketches often reflect detailed observations of the environment, creative interpretations of the subject matter, or personal doodles that capture moments of inspiration. Here are some examples of sketches from my classes and lectures:
Sketches During Classes and Lectures
During my study sessions, I found myself drawing during quiet moments, especially during office hours and even during seemingly dull meetings. Drawing has always been my hobby, and I have recently started sharing my sketches through a YouTube channel to help beginners improve their skills and to share my artistic journey.
One of My Favorites: A Sketch from a Math Lecture
One of my best sketches was made during a math lecture. The subject can be quite challenging, but adding a personal touch can make it more relatable. Here is the sketch I created:

While most of the sketches were made during classes or lectures, some were created outside the classroom. My sister is an accomplished artist who has shared some of her work, as follows:
Sketches Created by My Sister
My sister excels at sketching, and here are a few of her creations:

A Personal Experience: Math Lectures and Sketches
Mathematics can be a daunting subject, but it can also be fun when approached with creativity. I vividly remember the day when we were given four consecutive periods for a math lecture. Initially, I was dreading it, but the lectures turned out to be quite interesting. Here's a breakdown of the lectures:
Lecture 1: [Description of what happened during the first lecture] Lecture 2: [Description of what happened during the second lecture] Lecture 3: [Description of what happened during the third lecture] Lecture 4: [Description of what happened during the fourth lecture, leading to being caught with a colorful sketch]The final lecture concluded with me being caught with a colorful sketch, but it all ended well.
Thank God!
These experiences have shown me the power of combining learning with creativity. Not only does it make the process more enjoyable, but it also helps to cement the knowledge in a unique way.
