My First Selfie The Evolution of Photography on Phones

Hugs and kisses!

Back in Time: My first phone didn't have a camera, and at that time there was no such thing as a selfie. In fact, I rarely take one even today. So, there isn't much to answer in this! The Quest for the Selfie: About four years ago, I managed to take my first selfie, which I remember vividly. I was with two of my close friends, spending some time together before embarking on a new chapter of my life.

Picture Time in BSc

Back in my BSc days, I had just received a new mobile, a Samsung Corby 2. It was a fantastic time to have a piece of technology that was advancing rapidly. However, it didn't come with a front-facing camera. That was my challenge, but I found a way to document the moment. The 2MP front camera was a revelation, and I decided to use it to take a group photo, albeit not in the classic selfie style.

стоит отметить, что после того, как я принялся за этот снимок, профессиональные фотоаппараты и смартфоны стали значительно лучше. Камеры стали более четкими, а пользователей стали появляться больше желаний фотографировать себя и своих друзей.

From 2MP to Today

When I look back at my selfie from those BSc days, I can't help but admire the progress in mobile photography. The technology has advanced significantly, making it easier and more enjoyable to capture the moment. Today, front-facing cameras are standard features in almost every smartphone. Cameras have become more advanced, with features such as high resolution, multiple lenses, and even AI-driven enhancements.

Going back to my first attempt, it was a step in the right direction. The 2MP front camera might have captured a blurry image, but it marked the beginning of a new era of mobile photography. Today, there are stunning selfies and group shots taken with the press of a button, showcasing unmatched clarity and detail.

Conclusion

Over the years, my selfie has become synonymous with a moment captured in time. Today, we often share these moments on social media, and they are a testament to the progress of technology in our lives. From my first selfie with the Samsung Corby 2 to the myriad modern smartphones we use today, each snapshot tells a story, both personal and global.

It's fascinating to see how far we've come in such a short period of time. The only thing left for me to do is to cherish each selfie and relive the moments they capture, knowing that the journey continues, and the technology will keep evolving.

Hugs and kisses!
